Nonskarknuten rises to 456 metres above Kvinesdal valley. The 9.4-kilometre round trip hike from Liknes climbs steadily through forest before opening up to panoramic views over the valley, surrounding ridges and the coast in the distance.
The summit offers a broad outlook in all directions. The trail is well-marked but involves some elevation gain.
