Berekvam is the only place on the line where trains can pass each other. The single track means careful coordination - there's no modern centralised control system here. When trains need to cross, staff use flags during daylight and torches at night.
From the platform there are views of several waterfalls on the opposite valley side, including the unofficially-named Tunnshello. If the train pauses here for a crossing, it's a chance to take in the dramatic valley scenery.
