Lindesnes: The Municipality at Norway's Southern Tip

Lindesnes municipality takes its name from the famous lighthouse at Norway's southernmost point. Beyond the headland itself, the area is sparsely populated farmland and coastline, with the underwater restaurant Under as its other major attraction. The town of Vigeland serves as the municipal centre. For most visitors, Lindesnes means the lighthouse and possibly a meal at Under, both of which justify a detour from the E39.
