Kjøsterudjuvet is a narrow gorge carved by ice 10,000 years ago, located just outside Drammen. The hiking trail takes you between vertical rock walls that rise 50 metres on either side. It's quite dramatic actually.
The walk through the Norwegian forest is peaceful and you won't encounter many other tourists here. The trail can be slippery in wet conditions, so proper hiking boots are essential.
