Hove on Tromøya is one of the best beach areas on the south coast: long stretches of sand between rocky outcrops, backed by coastal pine forest. It serves as one of the main entry points to Raet nasjonalpark. The old military camp site offers camping, cabins, and simple facilities. A high-rope course and accessible beach facilities make it suitable for families. Popular in summer but the forest trails are pleasant year-round.
