If you need to stop for food or to charge your electric car, Valdresporten is coming up. It's an old farmstead that's been converted into a roadside inn and motel, right at the junction with the E16.

The café serves traditional Norwegian food and homemade desserts. They also sell local farm products. If you need to stay overnight, there's a small motel with simple rooms.

But what makes this place remarkable for drivers is the charging infrastructure. There are over 40 charging points here from multiple providers: Tesla Superchargers, IONITY, Recharge, and even NIO Power. It's one of the largest charging hubs on the route to Valdres, so if you're driving an electric car, this is a sensible place to top up.
