Ullevaal Stadion

120 minutes
Ullevaal Stadion is Norway's largest football stadium, with a capacity of around 28,000. It is the home ground of the Norwegian national football team and the venue for the annual Norwegian Cup Final. The stadium is also the headquarters of the Norwegian Football Association.

The original stadium was built in 1926 and named after the farm Ullevaal that once occupied the area. It has been rebuilt and expanded several times, most significantly in the 1990s when the old open terraces were replaced with covered all-seater stands for the 1998 and 2002 World Cup qualification campaigns. The current configuration dates from 2002.

International football matches and cup finals are the main events, but the stadium also hosts occasional concerts by major artists. On match days, the area around Ullevaal fills with fans, and the atmosphere can be lively, particularly for big qualifiers and derbies. The stadium is located in the Ullevaal neighbourhood north of the city centre. The nearest metro station is Ullevaal Stadion on line 4 and 5, or you can take tram 17 to Sognsveien.
