Sirdal Mountain Museum is an open-air museum at Kvæven, south of Fidjeland. The collection of historic buildings includes a farmstead with the oldest structure dating from the 1770s. A former hunting lodge recalls the era when English gentlemen came to the Sirdal mountains for salmon fishing and grouse shooting.
The museum grounds include a herb garden and a cafe in the old schoolhouse. The site gives a picture of mountain life in southern Norway through the centuries.
