The Nomelandsfjellet Via Ferrata near Valle offers a guided climbing route up a cliff face above the Setesdal valley. Steel cables, rungs, and ladders are fixed into the rock, making the ascent possible for people without technical climbing experience, though a reasonable head for heights is needed. The views from the top over the valley and the Otra river are the reward. Guided sessions run in summer; booking is required.
