Måren is a tiny settlement on the Sognefjorden, between Ortnevik and Nordeide on the car ferry route. The ferry stops here to pick up and drop off the handful of people who live in this area. There is not much to Måren itself, but the ferry crossing gives you a good view of the fjord and the mountains on both sides. If you are driving south towards Ortnevik or Stølsheimen, this is where you leave the main road.
