Jærmuseet: Science and Farming on the Jæren Plain

Vitengarden is a science centre and museum near Nærbø in Hå municipality, part of the Jærmuseet network. The focus is on the green sciences: the Jæren landscape, agriculture, food, energy, and environment. Interactive exhibitions let visitors experiment with crops, animals, and building methods. It won Norway's Museum of the Year award in 2009. Good for families, especially those curious about farming culture in one of Norway's most productive agricultural regions.
