Brimnes

30 minutes
Brimnes used to be a ferry terminal. From 1934 ferries crossed the Hardangerfjord here - first to Ulvik, later to Bruravik on the north side. The crossing took about 12 minutes, running every 20 minutes in summer.

All that ended on 17 August 2013 when the Hardanger Bridge opened. The old ferry quay is still visible.
