The Science Centre of Northern Norway is an interactive science museum in central Tromsø. It has hands-on exhibits about weather, energy, the northern lights, and Arctic science.
The planetarium shows films about the northern lights and space, and is the best option in Tromsø if the real northern lights do not cooperate during your visit. Most of the interactive exhibits are designed for children, but the planetarium and weather exhibits work for adults too.
