Svolværgeita is a twin-peaked rock formation at 590 metres above Svolvær. The two pinnacles, known as the horns of the goat, are separated by about 1.5 metres of empty space. The first recorded jump between the horns was made in 1910, and it has been a climbing challenge ever since.

This is not a casual hike. The approach to the base involves scrambling over steep, exposed rock. Reaching the actual horns requires proper climbing ability and equipment. Jumping the gap between the horns, with a long drop below, is for experienced climbers only. Guided climbing tours are available from Svolvær.

Even if you do not climb, the formation is visible from town and makes for a distinctive landmark against the skyline.
