Sigridsbu is an unstaffed DNT hut at 1,175 metres on the southern end of Blefjell, south of Bletoppen. It is operated by Kongsberg og Omegns Turistforening and was built in 1969, with a shelter annex added in 1993.
The hut is locked with the standard DNT key and open year-round. It sits high and exposed on the plateau with views in all directions. From here you can continue north along Blefjell on trails that are hilly and varied but generally easy to walk.
This is the kind of place that is deeply embedded in the local hiking culture around Kongsberg but that most visitors to Norway will never hear about. If you have a DNT key and enjoy self-service mountain huts, it is a good starting point or overnight stop on a Blefjell traverse.
