Oseana is the art and cultural centre in Os, opened in 2011. It won Norway's Building of the Year award the same year. The most distinctive feature is its facade: Norway's largest solar panel installation, which gives the building a surface that changes appearance with the weather and seasons.
The centre hosts concerts, theatre, exhibitions, and events. It also houses part of the Grieg art collection. For a small town 20 minutes south of Bergen, it is an unusually ambitious piece of architecture.
The building sits on Mobergsneset, a small headland in Osøyro, visible from the road if you are driving through.
