Omaholmen is a tiny island in the Hardangerfjord just off Omastrand, with a handful of colourful wooden houses surrounded by water, mountains, and the Folgefonna glacier in the distance. The island has become one of the most photographed spots in Hardanger, regularly appearing on social media as the picture-perfect Norwegian fjord scene. It is privately owned and cannot be visited, but is clearly visible from the shore road at Oma.
