Hovdenuten: The Summit Hike Above Hovden

Hovdenuten is the local peak above Hovden resort village and one of the most popular hikes in upper Setesdal. The trail is well marked and takes about an hour to the top, where the views extend across the mountain plateau in all directions. In winter the slopes below become the ski resort's main terrain; in summer the peak is an easy family-friendly outing.
