Haugar: Contemporary Art Between Viking Mounds

Haugar Vestfold Kunstmuseum is housed in a handsome brick building from 1921, originally a seamen's school, on a hill in central Tønsberg flanked by Viking-age burial mounds. The museum shows Norwegian and international contemporary art through a mix of its own collection and rotating exhibitions. It is considered one of the stronger regional art museums in the country.
