A narrow road winds up the mountainside to Hagalid, a farm that has been in the same family for 16 generations. Before the road was built, they used a freight cable car to transport goods down to the fjord. Today the farm is home to Norway's first commercial climate forest, planted in 2019. It is also a starting point for the hike to Skomakarnibbå.
