Gimle Gård is a stately manor house from 1807, built in the Empire style for the wealthy Moe family. It sits in a park on the east side of Kristiansand and functions today as a museum showing how the upper classes of Southern Norway lived in the early 1800s. The interiors are largely intact, with period furniture and decorative arts. A short visit of under an hour.
