Gállogieddi Samisk Friluftsmuseum in Evenes municipality preserves the heritage of the coastal Sami population that lived and worked in the Ofoten region. The open-air site includes traditional buildings, tools and exhibits on the semi-nomadic way of life that combined fishing, small-scale farming and reindeer herding along the fjords of northern Norway. The museum is part of Sør-Troms Museum and sits in a forest setting near Evenesmarka.
