Fiskebrygga stretches along both sides of Gravane canal, which separates Kvadraturen from Odderøya. The old fish landing was rebuilt in the 1990s with yellow-ochre and red timber buildings in traditional warehouse style, and now holds restaurants, shops, and a proper fish market selling fresh Norwegian seafood. In summer the wooden piers and canal-side tables fill with people, boats moor alongside, and live concerts play on Thursday evenings. It is the natural meeting point between the city centre and the Kunstsilo cultural quarter.
