Dyranut is the highest point on RV7 at 1,246 metres. Two mountain lodges sit side by side here. Look for the large troll statue by the road - that marks Dyranut Fjellstova. Both serve traditional food made with local ingredients: reindeer, trout, cloudberries.
From here, marked trails lead deep into the plateau - to Stigstuv, Kjeldebu, Sandhaug, and eventually all the way to Finse. It's also a popular starting point for multi-day hut-to-hut hiking.
