Perspektivet Museum is a cultural history museum in the centre of Tromsø, focused on photography, urban history, and social documentation. The museum holds one of the largest photographic archives in northern Norway, with over two million images.

Exhibitions change regularly and tend to be thoughtful rather than flashy. They often deal with daily life, migration, work, and identity in northern Norway, told through photographs and personal stories.

Free admission. A small museum, 30 to 45 minutes is enough. Worth a look if you are interested in the social history of the north rather than just the landscape.
