The Norwegian Sawmill Museum is at Spillum just outside Namsos. It has restored machinery from 1884 and tells the story of the timber industry that built this town and much of the Namdal region. If you are interested in industrial history, it is worth a stop. If not, the building itself is still a nice place to stretch your legs.
